League Teams Compete at Multiple Spots Around the Country

From Virginia to Arizona, league teams scattered around the country duking it out at four separate events jockeying to turn the tide among the top tier of the standings.
 
As the Nike EYBL Scholastic conference tournament looms next month, coaches know racking up key wins is imperative.
 
Wasatch Academy certainly got the memo, pulling off another undefeated weekend after finishing 3-0 last weekend.
 
The Tigers put on a defensive clinic in their first game, a 47-38 win over Veritas Academy. Wasatch held Veritas to just 27 percent from the field and turned 18 turnovers into 10 points in the win. Junior County, a Connecticut signee, led the way with 13 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.
 
Wasatch had to dig deep in game two, escaping with a 76-74 win over Iowa United Prep in four overtimes. The Tigers scored 40 points in the paint and got 16 points off 18 Iowa United turnovers in the win.
 
County again led the way with 17 points and seven rebounds.
 
No. 3 AZ Compass Prep was sharp all weekend, winning two games, first a 74-64 win over Veritas Academy and then knocking off No. 20 Faith Family in a nail biter 64-63.
 
In both wins the Dragons were dominant defensively, averaging 10 steals a game for the weekend. Kaden House, a Maryland signee, led the Dragons averaging 18 points a game.

No. 4 SPIRE Academy came out swinging after dropping from No. 1 this week, rolling to a 62-52 win over Tennessee Collegiate in game one before taking down Oak Hill Academy 70-53 to close out the weekend.
 
SPIRE diversified its attack in the two wins, dominating the paint (plus-26) in game one and posting 30 second-chance points in game two.
 
No. 6 Link Academy went unblemished for the weekend, winning by and average of 14 points a game over Sunrise Christian and No. 9 CIA Bella Vista Prep.
 
Long Island Lutheran was the final team to go undefeated over the weekend, posting two wins over CATS Academy (67-57) and Oak Hill Academy (57-50).
 
The Crusaders got a big boost from their bench all weekend, averaging 18 points a game from the reserves.
